Swindon & Wilts Residents Association: Community Outreach To Oppose Four 5G Masts In Stratton
SUCCESS IN SWINDON AGAIN!
3 out of 4 5G masts planned for the Stratton area of Swindon were rejected by the council, thanks to Swindon & Wiltshire Residents Association leafletting 400 properties and talking to residents (15-23/06/24.) Proposed locations at: Beechcroft Rd, Hathaway Rd, and Ermin Street were all refused. Only one mast was approved, on the industrial estate at Radway Road. There was not enough opposition against this one, which was why it slipped through the net.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL WHO OBJECTED ONLINE, AND THOSE WHO VOLUNTEERED FROM THE SWINDON & WILTSHIRE RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION TO LEAFLET THE AREAS.

Are you aware of BESS = Battery Energy Storage Systems?
Currently there has been one fire in the UK which was estimated to have taken around 56 hours to put out. It also appears that in 2023 there are another 1,145 sites are going through planning whilst 93 of them are operational.
These storage units are placed near Solar and Wind Farms and usually placed in fields.
The only bit of good news here is that you can object to them..

5G on or near motorways is not often discussed - so hereโs a reading of a monopole mast that is situated directly near the motorway
As we may know there are hundreds if not thousands of masts all placed by motorways all over the country these days, and coincidently there appear to be more crashes. It could be disputed as to why there are crashes, but my concern is that this issue is definitely not discussed enough!

Swindon & Wilts Residents Association: Questioning The Council About Potential ULEZ Plans (25/07/24)
Members of the Swindon & Wiltshire Residents Association attended a Swindon Borough Council meeting on 25/07/24 to ask our newly elected Labour Council to clarify points set out in their Swindon Plan for Transport.
Councillor Jim Robbins (Head) categorically stated 3 times when asked, that there are no current or future plans to implement a ULEZ or LTN system in Swindon.
Representatives asked the following questions:
Reg Bates - asked to clarify meanings in the document; such as transport gateways and corridors, and also the meaning of reducing the car on the street scene.
Andy Osborne - Are there any long term plans to introduce such a scheme like ULEZ?
Debbie Hicks - Are there any plans to introduce any scheme which would charge motorists to use the roads?
Our questions were reported in the local Swindon Advertiser and we also made the BBC.
So we have it on record that the Council deny introducing driving restrictions in Swindon in the future.
Local Residents Associations are important in this age in order to keep their Councils in check.

Im sure we all have our own opinions as to whether this tech is really โGreenโ, or could it just be a cash cow to control the masses?
Miliband has recently proclaimed that is a โNational Securityโ issue for this tech to be rolled out as soon as possible, which really does show their weakened disposition if we act swift and fast to prevent it expanding further!

Fantastic result here, due to backlash from angry parents and members of the public who contacted Wolsingham School to object to this Net Zero nonsense. This shows exactly how People Power works!

Smart Motorways appear to comprise of excessive cameras, barricades and towers..
What would be interesting to find out is how many people have been involved in car crashes since Smart motorways were introduced. They appear to be nothing more than dangerous, and this set-up is a new addition to this part of the M5 and needs to be exposed now before it gets rolled out further across the UKโ ๏ธ
